Thanks for reaching out to me- I was actually thinking of reaching out to you myself. He is not only personable, caring, hardworking, kind, efficient, responsive, and knowledgeable, but he is also very easy to talk to.
My car was in the shop since Saturday, October 3rd. I brought it in around 8:30 am, left it with Martin-needed to get a break inspection and oil change. The previous day when I spoke to him, I promised him I would bring him my extended warranty paperwork- my 4runner was bought in a different state. Well- I forgot them at home and wouldnt be home until much later that night. He said no worries, we will work on the oil change and check the brakes, just fax over the warranty on Monday. The warranty was to cover any work performed on vehicle under 100,000 miles or 5 years.
On Monday, I faxed/e-mailed/scanned the documents over to him. Of course, as with any warranty company they gave him a run around. Turns out I also had leaky shocks. This is about 1300 in cost. I heard that price tag and wanted to cry. But, Martin without missing a beat told me-hey its covered by your warranty. I never even had to call my warranty company. Martin went above and beyond what he needed to do, dealt with them directly. I heard from him every day with a status update. Now, here is where it gets even more interesting, my car was also brought in because someone hit me. So, it needed to visit the collision center. Martin and Pasqual kept me informed the whole time. What was going on, where we were in the process, parts being ordered, bumpers being painted, headlights being buffed. Whatever it was, if I called, e-mailed, texted- I heard back within the next few hours.
The amount of customer service Martin possess is amazing. Up until the very end until he walked me to my car yesterday (which was so clean) I felt like I wasnt being forgotten about, tossed around from department to department, or treated like another person who brought their car in for an oil change.
I dont know the grading system at Toyota- 5 or 10 starswhatever it is, he surpassed it. I really like the texting service, I really like that we can now e-mail the service reps, and I really like the attention and detail that was provided to my situation.
If promotions, raises, or bonuses are on the horizon- make sure Martin doesnt get overlooked!

MPG is moving to much in both directions. It will say 21 mpg and then move all the way to 55mpg.
