I gave the vehicle my inspection today. By the way I am skilled at this trade myself and I was very disappointed. The drivers side fan which has the coolant overflow container attached has 2 plastic pins that it drops down into to support it and then is secured by 2 bolts on top. They missed the holes and the fan was just hanging by the 2 bolts on top. I took the 2 bolts out and properly seated the fan and corrected this problem myself. Next the coolant overflow jug was empty. I filled to the proper level and after driving it today it came down 2 inches more. I consider this normal due to air in the system but however the engine should have been warmed up at the shop and brought to the proper level there. The bottom radiator hose clamp was not on the neck of the radiator. It was only clamping the hose itself. I corrected this myself also. There was a fastener missing under the shield underneath. It was hanging down. I did not have the proper parts but I secured it with an old fastener and bolt I had here. It is just a temporary fix. 2 license plate bolts were not re-installed. I purchased matching stainless steel bolts and washers and installed them. Now to the more serious issues. A red wire going to the ac compressor has been pinched and the copper conductors within the wire are partially cut and the integrity of the wire is compromised. This I did not attempt to repair. The passenger side fog light is cracked on top and is now getting moisture in it. I cannot say it was there from hitting the raccoon because I think I would have seen it because it is high up and I could have missed it but you did not mention it as cracked on your inspection either. It had to happen during the repair process. Also there is an AC line plastic clip that is broken off but the line is still pushing up against it and I don't foresee any future issues because of it but to send it out like that is not very professional. The paint and body work is beautifully done and no complaints there. Just sloppy mechanical work. The only way I will be satisfied with the wire repair is if it is cut and soldered together and heat shrinked for a permanent reliable repair. I would have done this myself also except that it is hard to get to and after all the other stuff I did I was starting to get pretty pissed off. No doubt the passenger side fog light will need to be replaced. I am satisfied with the aftermarket parts due to the warranty you provide but I am not at all happy about the sloppy mechanical work. I still have full factory warranty on this vehicle but not anymore on the work you guys did. I honestly quit messing with it because I was afraid to find more and make my day worse than it was after finding what I did. I sure do not trust my car as much anymore as I did before. If you wanted an honest answer to your survey well you got one. I live almost 100 miles away and it feels useless to run that far to have things redone that should have been done right the first time. Read what I typed and think of how you would like to be treated if this happened to you and you were in my shoes. That will be your answer to your question to make me completely satisfied. I straightened most of the problems out myself but with work like that what bothers me the most right now is what I can't see and did not find.

The repair on my auto looked absolutely terrific. Everyone at Don McGill treated me with respect and I was pleased with the expedited completion of the repair work. Justin was especially great at keeping me updated. The paint job couldn't have been better. I am most pleased with Don McGill service.

I was so surprised at the level of service I received! From the moment I was trying to find the location & met Lonnie I instantly knew me & my car would be taken care of. Both of the ladies at the cashier booth were also wonderful when I checked out tonight-****-23-15. My car was cleaned- what a wonderful surprise! You should be very proud of your staff! I don't have rental insurance so the cost of the rental car was my responsibility. I first took my car to Toyota and was told if I can drop it off on a Mon Or Tues it will be ready on a Thurs or Friday. When I dropped my car off on Tues at lunch I was told Wed that they didn't know I was coming so they did not have the parts need so my repairs will not be completed until Tues. I spoke with Emil and told him I came in and spoke with Lance and told Lance the exact day I was bringing the car in. I was informed Lance no longer worked there. Is this my problem? Emil was helpful and told me he would try his best to get the car ready on Friday. Friday I was told that the paint job did not match so therefore it will needed to be painted again and now it will not be ready until Monday. Again, is it my fault that Toyota couldn't get it right the first time. Now I am paying Sat, Sun and Mon on the rental car. I am not happy with this situation and have learned from my lesson and will probably try another repair shop the next time around.

I have to best honest. Initially, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the service esp. Robert. I was about to leave thinking how such an awful event was made just a little easier with the service I was given by Don McGill but then a few major things happened. First, I get in the car and I am hit with this awful smell of something rotting. Then, the car wouldn't start and I left with the phone number for the tow truck (not the best feeling when you just had the car restored to it original condition, if not better) in case I got stranded. Once we finally got the car running and I drive out of the parking lot I can hardly focus on driving bc the smell was so awful. So I pulled over only to realize there was a pile full of maggots in the trunk. I realize the are not responsible cleaning, which Robert did anyways but a courtesy call that there was obviously something rotting would have been nice. The thing that sparks my curiosity is I could never find the cup of milk that had spilled which tells me, someone found it and threw it away and didn't bother with the maggots and the spilled spot in my trunk. Again, just a courtesy call or some heads up. Again, Robert tried his best and I commend him for his efforts but I am left feeling they just pulled the wool over my eyes. I don't want to feel that way but it hard not to with the couple of major things that happened at the tail end.

The repair process is smooth, however my radio system is not working after the repair. I went back to the shop immediately after I found the problem, an agent from the shop said they haven't touched that part and he had nothing to do with the 'crap'(that's what he said). I'm actually very angry about this because I don't know whether his team had touched that or not, but until I dropped my car at the shop at last Saturday, the audio system was working perfectly. Obviously something happened during this process but he totally deny that.
