I didn’t receive detailed updates about my car. It took a month for Service King in Torrance to fix my car. I ended up paying $700 in rental car fees for the time that my car was being repaired. The only updates i received happened when i called service king myself to ask if my car was ready. They pushed back the date of when it would be ready about 6 times over the course of the month. I think the customer communication system needs to be changed because i felt very in the dark during the whole process. My car interior also smelled like mildew when i got it back. I don’t plan on using Service King again and have contacted Allstate about reconsidering having Service king in their trusted network of shops.

Two items detracted from my complete satisfaction but not to the extent that I would answer your single question negatively -- first, the multiple changes to the completion date were annoying and inconvenient; Second, I was not pleased with the less than expected appearance in replacement of the front bumper trim. It was explained to me that this was a result of the unavailability of a new part and consequent repair. I accept this and assume that any credit due to USAA will be made.

It was scheduled to be done on 3/5 then postponed to 3/11. I was told I can pick it up at the end of the day, so I excused myself from the work to get there only to be told that it's not ready and it will be ready today, 3/12 before lunch. Now today, 3/12, I called Kodi, the guy who's responsible for the communication about my car, at 3 PM, then he says he would call me when it's ready and just hung up. I still don't have my car back, and your system is sending me a post delivery survey??? What's going on?
