When it comes to auto engine and body repairs, what is most necessary is to be able to trust the people your dealing with. (a preposition is a bad word to end a sentence with. LOL) I had no worries that the job would be done well. That made made all the difference!

The vehicle I brought to you for repair was a brand new from the factory vehicle, it was not more than **** month old, it had 1800 miles on it. I had been backed into, with damage to my left front bumper and fender. I chose Lithia Body & Paint because of being a Toyota Certified Collision Repair, I live 3 hours away from their location. When I got my car back, I was not satisfied with the bumper/fender gap in the area of repair. I will admit that I'm not qualified at reading the terminology on the vehicle estimate or repair order but I assumed the bumper on the vehicle had been replaced. I took the car back, they looked at it and came back to me and said that " sometimes that's just how it is" , I said "so there are no options to make it right??" I was told " we can try new brackets, but the snaps can wear out and this would be the 4th time of doing it" " we could try new brackets and it could end up being worse" I said " what about a new bumper?" I was told they would call the insurance company and see if they were willing to lay for new bumper but doubt they would, but if I wanted to try, they would call...It wasnt until now that I found out the bumper was never replaced, and only repaired....I left and went home. Recieved call after I was home, no insurance company was not paying for a new bumper, but they would be happy to order new brackets and try that. I said " well you've put me in a hard place because you already told me that the brackets would be off and on for the 4th time, and could end up with it fitting worse" I was told " or we could try the new brackets and it could fix it" I just want my brand new car to be fixed the best it can be "LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED"! I do not understand why the bumper was never replaced from the start....At some point the customers satisfaction should matter more than how inexpensive the repair work is, insurance covering it or not. That you expect a customer to be happy with this result on a brand new vehicle is very disappointing.
