Mackin's Auto Body - Capitol Hwy.

Aaron was very helpful in providing a quick quote to replace my drivers side mirror. This included providing estimates and locations of a used part and offering to install the used mirror. After finding the right mirror, bringing it to the shop, Aaron had one of his technicians install it in minutes for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy!

Aaron and company helped me today with my 2010 ScionXD. I needed to install a bike rack on the back on my hatchback Scion and the bumper was not supporting the weight of the two bikes without warping the plastic bumper. It turns out Toyota had designed a rear bumper that was basically one large piece of partially supported plastic that hid some steel framework that served as the 'real' bumper. Well, long story short (NOT), I liked the bike rack and I decided that I could create an additional steel shelf the would support the base of the rack (that would sit on top of the bumper) as its designers (Thule) had suggested. However to do this work I needed to have the rear bumper (the plastic shell) removed and then replaced once I had attached the added internal steel shelf. I have to share that as I thought about approaching a body shop to ask for help with this project, I wasn't feeling too sure of the reaction I would get. But I found my fears were groundless once I talked to Aaron. He assured me that this wasn't such a crazy request and that he had helped some other folks with there bike racks. (I will also add that he did at first glance try to steer me to a trailer hitch shop and likewise a trailer hitch attached bike rack! Which was something I had considered but did not want after having one on another vehicle years ago, but did not like. Still, I thought it was thoughtful of him to suggest it!) So I got on the schedule and I had my bumper removed. I did the work I needed to do and then returned to have the bumper reinstalled. Everything went as hoped and we're off tomorrow to enjoy a bike ride at the coast this 4th of July week! Awesome! That you Aaron, and company. This was a great experience and I am very appreciative of such great help and service in my time need. I hope all the people at Mackin's have a great 4th!!

I had a great experience with Mackins! Everyone was polite, friendly and easy to work with and proactively helpful. Completely took the stress out of the situation. Only tiny negative is that it took a longer than I hoped, but because the process was so easy, I was not without a vehicle, they kept me updated and I had my car back when I really needed it, this was not a big concern of mine.
