IFM Collision Center

The car looks great. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional. The only frustrating part was that when I was given the cost estimate a month ago , I was told the job would take five days, maybe four. I dropped the car off then received a call the next morning and was told that the car would be ready in eight days! That created a problem for me in terms of getting to work. I asked if I could pick up the car then and bring it back another time but was told that they had already started work on the car. Three days later, I received a call and was told that my car was ready. When I asked how that could be, I was told that the formula that was used to estimate the completion date, had indicated the completion dates. Assuming that the same formula was used when I got the original estimate and when I was called the next day with the eight day estimate, I don’t understand why they would be so different. And that the car was completed earlier than both estimates owas surprising, albeit very helpful. Two suggestions: make sure that the original estimate is correct and when a customer drops off the car, double check the estimated completion date. If I had been told the date was so different from the original 4-5 days, I would have brought the car back another day. Perhaps the formula should be checked.

Make sure there is clear and prior communication with the auto insurer so it is clear that repair services AND car rental fees are covered by the insurer BEFORE doing the work and getting the customer into a rental car rental. So there is no confusion and problems over payment.

My problem was not with IFM itself, but with Enterprise, which made the overall experience frustrating and distasteful.

I have never been disappointed in any work IFM has done for me, and I would refer you to anybody needing the kind of service you supply.

I had left a few quarters in the console and they were not there when I picked up the car. I have a baggie holding lots of quarters that I had taken out of the car, but I left the 4-5 quarters that a friend had loaned me for a meter, and those were the ones that were stolen. I removed all my other personal belongings, but figured $****.25 in quarters was "safe." It's small potatoes, but still... not what I expected.
