I was involved in a minor rear end accident where my 2016 Silverado was struck by another motorist. After the initial claims process I ended up choosing Porter Chevy in Newark, DE to handle my vehicle since it was not only a Chevy dealer I was familiar with but also because the Gieco rep made me aware that your location was a preferred location. Win-win. Once my vehicle was in the hands of**** down at the collision shop I can't tell you how smooth this process went. I would never wish an accident on anyone but I wish people could see how seemless this was. Not only was**** in constant communication with me but I had a large favor to ask of him and he delivered without hesitation. My truck was due for an oil change and to me it felt like a lot making two separate trips to the same place but it also felt like a lot to ask a service manager to change my oil. He deals with hundreds of people a weak and nothing makes me any better or more important than them. This may not seem like a big deal but before I could finish my sentence**** knew what I was asking of him and agreed to handle it. In under three days not only did my truck have a back bumper replaced but**** had my truck sent up to the service department for its normal servicing, something that was completely unrelated to the accident and he still delivered my vehicle back to me in the time he promised. Never being in an accident I expected the servicing of my damaged vehicle to be drug out and annoying. In fact the whole thing was the exact opposite.. Howard, where ever you're at my man please know that this 29yr old male who loves that truck more than anything (please don't let my wife see that comment) will tell this success story to his closest friends. You won your company a lot more business my good friend. -JC
