The Day of delivery there should have been a representative from carstruction to walk me through the repairs and make sure that the repairs were completed correctly. Instead I was given the keys of my vehicle at the counter and I was sent to inspect my vehicle alone at that point I found that the clear coat was applied incorrectly and needed to be repair. This cause for me to have to leave my vehicle at carstruction and to make arrangements again for a rental vehicle. I haven yet receive a call from anyone at carstruction to explain what happen or to tell me how the issue will be resolve and when.

While satisfied the quality of work regarding the repairs, I disagree with the repair strategy and logic of affecting vandalism repairs to the truck that requires painting the entire truck with exception of the roof and front bumper. I completely understand the cost avoidance thought process of not painting the roof since no damage existed but not painting or blending the front bumper in borderline ridiculous and not something I have come to expect from this facility. I have had work done on multiple vehicles here including my Lexus(s), Vette, F-150 and both Honda(s) over the last 8 years through the management transition with no issues. But this incident is a little unsettling. In Nate and the shop's defense, we have agreed to buff the bumper in hopes to blend the two paints but I'm not sure this approach is even right. The paint difference is blantantly obvious; dark burgundy and lighter maroon. It feels more like a band-aid vice the correct repair. We'll see and allow USAA and the shop to work out the path ahead. This should have been included and/covered in the initial appraisal and executed during the repair. Anyway, Happy New Year and I'm hopefully this issue can/will be resolved soon. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The ARX team did a fantastic job. From My AD from GEICO, to my ERAC rep, to the random employee that problem solved fitting a baby swing into my rental trunk. It was nice to be helped this way, especially since I had a baby with me. The text and email updates were great as well. Would recommend this place to everyone.

The work that was completed is perfect. My husband was upset that the spray liner of the inside of the tail gate was not done. Carstruction needed to call GEICO for approval. We assume that we will get a call from CarStraction or GEICO tomorrow. The liner was in the truck when we purchased the truck.
