The gentleman I dropped the car off with I believe his name was Bryce was vet professional and had a clear understanding of what I wanted done and clearly marked the car with green marks accordingly. He was confident and made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately the guy I got stuck with after that - not so much “Tommy” had very poor communication. I asked for a quote for self pay which Bruce clearly marked in front of me. Tommy tried to play like he didn’t know upon our 1st contact on a Monday or Tuesday when we spoke via phone. But apologized and said he would get it wrote up and send by EOD - I understood that things get overlooked and was fine with that (but not sure how he missed a big green circle) anyways EOD came and went with no contact. At this point I figured they didn’t want additional business so didn’t pursue it further until he contacted me Friday said my car was ready and brought up the estimate and said you all were too high probably a couple thousand (still never a firm quote - not sure if a tech actually looked at it) but could refer me to some other place that he said would be about $300 or less. At this point I finally had enough with this cat and asked for a Mgr John said he probably had good intentions of Saving me money. Probably a pointless dent removal third party you all use. Didn’t seem interested at all in my concerns - that said not sure why I’m wasting my time with this survey because it probably will be disregarded as well. Anyways I got to pick up my car - it was done half as$. Didn’t accept it and they had to do rework. When u went to pick up my car I was finally told $580 for the estimate I requested. Point was I wanted everything done at the same time and I’m not sure where $580 came from as I was told ballpark couple thousand to $300 or less (unless they FINALLY got someone to look at it) well seeing how the initial work I had done was subpar at best I declined additional work. If someone actually reads these you may want to know tommy doesn’t seem to be interested in earning additional business. Had the experience been better up front I would have certainly done the additional work. Anyways this certainly wasn’t what I was expecting from autonation my husband and I use the service and always have wowing experience. Kolton in the service dept always provides professional service and great communication! He is a great asset to your organization. You may want to have Kolton or Bryce train this Tommy kid on his soft skills when dealing with customers before you start loosing business. If anyone wants to discuss further please feel free to call
