There was a female employee that was wearing a light blue dress with white lace up VAN'S. That was extremely RUDE! Other than that everyone there was very helpful and professional. I was there at 3:30 on 2/12/16 she was in the office room to the right of the entrance . If management can please give me a call I'm would appreciate it. i almost hate to mention this, because at no time was i unaware that i was fully responsible for removing all personal items from my vehicle prior to its repair...which was extensive and as far as i can tell from having my vehicle back only for a few hours, was also done very well.
im just really vexed over the fact that at the time after my accident and the vehicle was towed away, there was a disassembled treadmill in the bed of the truck.
and while i was certain i'd removed everything in terms of personal effects from inside the truck, only after it was towed did i recall having forgotten to remove the two seat covers (they were black with little white gun-shaped decal patterns).
i ALSO specifically recall thinking, eh, probably no big deal, i mean, they're seat covers...why wouldnt they come back with the truck?
i was also thinking--and glad at the thought--that the treadmill being in the back of the truck meant that it would probably get scrapped...i think i even mentioned that to the tow-guy "ok to toss"....which to me, was perfect because i'd had no idea of where/how to dispose of it. so i just figured/assumed it'd have to come out at some point during the repairs.
so....needless to say i was ecstatic to get my truck back today, but i kind of couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the seat covers were gone...and the treadmill was still there. i mean, whatever about the treadmill, thats my problem, bottom line. but it is REALLY bothering me that my seat covers are missing.
again, i FULLY understand that it was my responsibility for removing everything from my truck, but i just cant rationalize it in my mind that there was any reason for those seat covers to be taken off...other than someone saw an opportunity for theft and took advantage.
because as far as i could understand from the work order, there was no structural damage or repair done to the seats that would necessitate removal of the seat covers.
so, yeah im very happy with the actual repair and meat/potatoes part of the job...i definitely dont want to give your place a bad review because youve all been great. i just think it **** when you happen to forget ONE thing, and then its gone, and then that one thing taints your overall perception of a place.
because thebottom line is now this: the first thing im going to think wont be "they did a great job on my truck" (which you/they did)....its going to be/already is "they freaking ganked my seat covers". and, you know...that just ****.
and i want to make sure i emphasize that this is entirely aboutthe general principle of the matter. i mean, i can go out right now and buy new seat covers, its not like they were made out of sting-ray leather or cost thousands of dollars. they were like, 10 per, i think from auto zone or whatever. not the point.
it's not the physical loss im stressing here.
its me basically thinking, ok this one little thing would most likely keep me from recommending this place to someone else. why?
because excellent service and repairs, but god forbid you forget one thing in your vehicle, better kiss it goodbye because your ****'s gonna get stolen. and yeah disclaimer disclaimer but come on. this is like first grade right-and-wrong life-lesson stuff: you just dont steal people's ****. stealing is wrong. etc.
so, as a consumer...im kind of in a pickle over this.
