Walkers Collision Repair

While I was satisfied in part, I cannot say completely. The repair was done to my satisfaction and I am pleased with the finished product (did not expect the detailing, nice!) However, in terms of keeping your customer updated on the progress, especially when I was told it may only take one day, I've had better service updates from dealerships and larger service centers than I did with Walker's. My vehicle was dropped off at the appointed time (6/10) at 8:00 am, as soon as the office opened. I was home all day, with phone by my side, and not one single call. So, I just happened to check my email late that afternoon and found two messages which had been delivered shortly after I had dropped it off, one at 8:10 am stating an update would be provided soon. Then a second at 8:57 am stating "We have updated your estimated completion date from (Pending) to 06/13/2016 05:30 PM." Not one single phone call explaining why. On Monday, I received an email prior to 10:00 am saying service should be completed that day but someone will call if there are delays. I did respond to the email and received a prompt reply. Just don't think the emails are very personal and the best way to keep a customer informed of their vehicle's service status, especially when I was told "it may only take a day". Just my thoughts since you asked.

Notifications a little more frequently with some detail would have been awesome. They had my vehicle for four days and didn't have any update in between then.
