The only issue was that it was due to be completed on Tuesday at 5:00. I heard nothing about whether it was done or not, and had to call twice on Wednesday to find out that it would be ready Wednesday afternoon. Everything else was good!

Only slight negative was the fact that the paperwork between our Chevy Tahoe and Subaru cross track was mixed up and it took a little bit to get that resolved and also the procedure for us getting the overage checks directly from the insurance company for paying it directly to you was a little bit confusing. Other than that I was quite satisfied.

The body of the truck looks good but some of the moldings and interior are not the same as before the work. Gaps in the molding, dash has cut marks in it, headliner is ripped and has marks on it.

I was originally told repairs would take 3 weeks. It took 6 weeks. I was not kept updated very well towards the end. I had to call every day to see if my car was ready for pick up. When it was finally completed, I went to pick up and did the inspection. I found a huge hail dent they didn’t fix, even though they bragged about two inspections. I also had glue and other debris all over my roof and luggage rack. I am severely disappointed in the service I received.

The external body work looks good, but I was unhappy with the length of time the vehicle ton to repair (33 days). I also found that my radio knob was broken, and my front passenger side was very low tire pressure (5 psi). I understand that the truck was in for body work, however tire pressure should be checked simply for a safety perspective.

There was a push to get my truck back at the end because my rental coverage had run out and American Family Insurance and Carstar were going back and forth to determine who's fault the delay was. My truck was completed 2 days prior to the date I was told it should be done by, which I appreciate, but it was obvious that it was rushed. The interior was not cleaned very well. Things that were taken apart, such as the storage compartment underneath my back seat, were not put back together properly. My jack was out of it's compartment, there's a bunch of crap in the bed of the truck that I will need to sweep out that wasn't there when I dropped the truck off. There is also some sort of black residue on the passenger side window and door that I am going to have to figure out how to remove without ruining the paint job. It's safe to say that I am disappointed. I am an insurance agent with American Family and I have always told my clients to use this facility, but based on my experience I am going to search for a different point of reference. I don't want my clients to leave with the same bad taste in their mouths.

The ****/4 size dent near the front of the sunroof has grown to a 2 metal ripple wave. The **** dents and crease in the hood pointed out to the estimators are still there. I even asked if I could buy a new hood to ensure a quality job. The driver rear window bottom trim piece is still dented and that was also pointed out. The car in general is fine I just thought more attention should have been done to key areas. Have someone follow up on this please Thane Tasto. ****-****-xxxx

Carstar know that the adjusters at Geico are crooks yet they do nothing about it. Geico adjusters give a low low estimate and hope you don’t fix your car. Actual price to fix the car is 3 to 4 times as much and Geico immediately approves it. That makes Geico and Carstar both crooks what a shame
