Since I dont have a high requirement, I give this bodywork a pass. But strictly and technically speaking, this work is not COMPLETELY satisfying. There still exists a minor flaw: The very left end of the rear bumper is still tilt up a bit, not completely attach to the body. When I got rear ended, I felt the back part of the car was raised up and heard a very loud bang. That could make the bumper be pushed in and both ends of the bumper be squeezed into the body and deformed. I ever went to different body shops around before I selected Carstar. They all told me the rear bumper need to be replaced to solve all the problem including deformation, which may cost 700 to 800 in total. I ever pointed out this concern on the day I picked up my car from Carstar. The guy told me this was due to the scratches on the left side of the bumper, not related with this rear end accident. The time the scratches were made might/might not deform the bumper somehow. However, we cannot exclude the possibilities that such a strong rear end collision not deform the rear bumper at all. Over all, all the scratches are fixed perfectly and make the bumper look like new. I give this work a 3 or 3.5 out of 5. However, compared to other body shops charging 700 to 800 to replace the bumper, touching up the scratches using 600 is kind of expensive still. Because I am not picky, dont have time (and money for rental insurance) to deal with this thing, I give this work a pass. You can use my experiences for the other customers in the future. Should have been more communication in the beginning. I think I called 4 days after you received my car to see if the estimate had been done and the repairs started, because I was told I would receive a phone call and never did. That's all.
