We were told that the vehicle parts were in and the vehicle would be available for pick up on Dec 16th. At 2:38 pm I was called and told that a part did not show up and that it would be another day before the vehicle was ready. My wife left on the morning of the 16th to travel home to Missouri in an emergency due to her father having emergency open heart surgery, my plan was to pick up the Honda and leave town on the evening of the 16th. After explaining the importance of getting the vehicle fixed with Justin (Desk Clerk) he made some calls and found the part at a local Honda dealership. He called me back and informed me that the vehicle would be ready for pick up on the 16th after all. I loaded the rental car with everything and drove to Southeast Collision at 5pm, was told the vehicle would be ready at 5:45pm. At 5:45 I went out side to look the vehicle over, after noticing the gaps at the hood to fender differences on each side, the headlight to hood gap differences, the gaps at the bottom of the door to fender differences, the fender skirt not being seated properly to the fender, I left the company with a VERY poor attitude. I was also informed that a part was broken around the windshield wiper and that I could bring the car back once it arrived and they would install it. At first visit to the company for the estimate and discussion of the process I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, courtesy and knowledge, however during this experience my opinion has completely changed. I can understand maybe one or two things needing to be adjusted, but as listed above; there were several items needing to be repaired, which makes me question not only the craftsmanship and knowledge of the person doing the work, but also the leadership ability of the shop foreman and company echelons. Regardless of the vehicle, I understand there may be differences if OEM parts are not used, I also know that even OEM parts are not perfect. So, one must expect a certain small level of imperfections, but the items listed were obvious to me at dusk light in a parking lot, not under a light pole, not in a maintenance bay, but outside at dusk. Not a happy customer. Now tomorrow, if the vehicle is fixed, I will have a 13 hour drive only to get there after events take place, instead of being there at 7 am in the morning and being with family. I look forward to seeing the vehicle in the day light.
