Every handle on the car had not been buffered and there were spots where the paint was rough. They said it would be only 5 minutes to make the necessary additional repairs. It was at least 30 minutes and I had to check-in. Then we put my son in his car seat and luckily my husband leaned against the seat only to notice the car seat was completely uninstalled!!! I know for a fact that it was left with the car seat installed! If he hadn’t leaned against the seat, we wouldn’t have known!!! We reinstalled the seat to then realize the seat itself wasn’t even latched! This was a paint job. There is no reason the car seat should have be touched and no reason we should not have been informed the car seat was touched. I went in to tell them and I didn’t feel like they were as concerned as they should have been. The car had also been to Isringhausen, so I called to see if they had uninstalled the seat. They said they never touch car seats and don’tt even place them in the cars due to liability. I can attest to that, because, that is what they have always done when we have gone in for repairs and require a loaner. I called Zara’s back to tell them it wasn’t Isringhausen and to also let them know the seat had also not been latched completely. I have no idea why the seat was taken out as they didn’t even detail the back seats at all! When I called back I informed them how disappointed I was and that I wasn’t sure if we would be back. I told her that they really need to address this issue to avoid a potentially dangerous situation in the future and she said very snippy that she HAD already addressed the issue. She really didn’t not understand the severity of the issue. I am very disappointed and very frustrated. This is nothing like the serviced we received last time. I referred my mom after our first service from Zara’s when she was in an accident, but I am so bothered by this issue that I do not expect we will use Zara’s in the future nor recommend this business. Our children are our most precious gifts and their safety is my biggest priority. This is a big deal and should be treated as such, not blown off! You should also see this as a huge liability!
