My car was scheduled to receive repairs to the front end and rear end, under separate insurance claims. After 3 weeks, when I came to pick up my car, only work to the rear end had been completed. The rear end work was also inadequate as the bumper lines did not line up with the rear quarter panel lines. I did not feel like a valued customer, nor did anyone accept responsibility for the lack of repairs to my front end. I'm not sure it is possible to make me satisfied with this repair effort.

Dear CARSTAR,
The painting that was done was good---however I was very disappointed that a "blend" or color match on the left hand side adjacent panel to the rear bumper that was painted was not performed. The GEICO adjuster went to great length explaining the process of "Blending and why it was important on the right hand side. Additionally I would have expected the originally painted door handle in the middle of the door you replaced and painted would/should have also been color matched. So in essence an inconsistent approach to the overall job.

I had my 07 Toyota Tacoma come into the shop around the 5th of August. It started off well enough but then became a completely mixed up complicat d experience. I was informed that my truck would have been completely by the 28th of August and then received an update that it was not going to be completed until the 28 of sept. I ask the ara carstar rep why my vehicle was going to take so long seeing as I was told it was going to the 4 wheel shop for an inspection and alignment. I asked her why and never received an answer and had to calll he 4 wheel shop myself and get a list of the things the found in the suspension and was told it was a handful of polyurethane bushings and all and that that was going to take a month to install. No one knew what was going on they did not seem to talk to the shop and keep on top of what was happening or want to get these small repairs done in a timely manner. After I got my truck back today the front mud flaps rub on the back side of my tires preventing me from turning sharply which is absurd that that was realized because I noticed it immediately after taken possession of the truck. But the kicker is I brought in the truck with no damage to the front cv joint boots but now both of hem are split wide open and spewing grease everywhere. Absolutely not happy with the overall experience and will probably never use ara carstar again and will NEVER recommend this compan to anyone that I know for the simple fact that it took far too long to get my vehicle back and when I did it’s got damage that wasn’t there to being with and my alignment is waaaay off so good times.

An employee, I believe it was a supervisor, backed into my newly repaired vehicle. They felt horrible about it and had the new repairs done within a day. I believe some employees (technician and ****) stayed late to make the repairs in a very timely fashion. It was nice to have them speed it up and get my car back to me quickly.
