Two things that weren't properly addressed. The front hood was sprayed and looks brand new. It was sprayed so that it can be blended in so the paint has an even flow. The air scoop, which is a major component of the front hood was removed and never addressed as part of the spray which now sticks out like a sore thumb. When I addressed this with Gil, the answer I received was that it was removed so that the hood can be sprayed in compliance with factory protocol. THE SCOOP IS AN ATTACHMENT TO THE HOOD which should have been sprayed as well, even if it was removed from the hood. How is it that the hood received this attention and the scoop was left alone?
The second problem is alignment. Traveling back home on Community road, the vehicle has a SEVER HARD RIGHT PULL. I had to apply a left counter steer to keep it going straight. Upon testing it, I removed my hands off the wheel heading north on Community, a fairly straight road and the vehicle made a beeline for the right curb. If the vehicle was aligned then it should NOT tug or pull this hard to the right. If tires are an issue, then this should have been noted in the alignment or afterwards.
For these two points, I am not very happy with the overall condition of the vehicle and I will be contacting AAA to address this matter with them.

The bumper paint does not match the body color. It is not the same white as the body. It is noticeable to me. This is the second time Poway Valley has done paint work on one of our two white cars and I felt the previous paint match on our Elantra GT was not that good. I mentioned this difference to the staffer who drove the car up and I questioned others how a body shop sets the paint mixture for touch-up work. I did not pursue the situation any further because it did not do any good last time and I had already been without my car for a week. I chose to work with Poway Valley over FixAuto that Geico wanted because I felt more comfortable working with a known. I am disappointed.
