the front interior door panel was used
Fix my car so I can not see where it was painted
I have not had a chance to inspect all the work

The service was great! Everyone went beyond expectations with providing detail infomation throughout the process. But I must point out that the receptionist tries too hard to give good service. It comes off a bit annoying with the language and choice of words. Such as, "Good girl." With a little more training on customer service interactions she will be awesome. Please do not take this comment in the wrong manner. But, a suggestion on how the customer experience can be better.

I did not pick up my vehicle as scheduled. There were two major problems with the repair work.
First, the rear portion of the rocker panel wasn't even painted. You could look in the wheel well and see the bright blue bare plastic that clearly contrasted with the paint. It took me all of two seconds looking at the area repaired to notice this, yet somehow the car was inspected for quality and deemed to be ready for pick up. Frankly it's a complete failure by the person who did the work and everyone above them, up to and including the GEICO representative.
Second, the paint on the passenger side doors and rear quarter panel was full of foreign matter. Lumps of material stuck in the paint. They were obvious to the eye and the extent of the problem was much more apparent when I ran my hand across the body. The GEICO rep informed me that the shop is having problems with dust and debris getting on paint and that they are trying to get new filters or fans or something. Whatever. It's no concern of mine what the issue is. It just needs to be fixed and the paint applied in a proper dust free environment. But I find it disturbing that this is a known issue and yet I was presented with my car as if the repair was done correctly.
I will not hesitate to refuse delivery and have the paint done all over again. Please take a bit more care and see that the paint is applied properly this time.
