This was an amateurish attempt at repairing my car. I brought it to Jarret-Gordon Ford trusting that it would be handled professionally and reputably. I had a second-rate job done that apparently was never even inspected. Instead of recognizing they had purchased the wrong part, they decided to "make it work" and apparently took a saw to a brand new plastic bumper in order to correct the order of not ordering one designed to be used with the factory installed trailer hitch.
What other parts were "customized" in order to compensate for mistakes that were made? Where else were there shortcuts taken? Why couldn't the gentleman that tried to quickly deliver my vehicle, without even going outside to look at it, have noticed it and admitted that there was a mistake? How did it ever to get to the point where you attempted to deliver something this horribly shoddy.
I'll be not only filing a grievance with my insurance company (USAA) and the insurance company of the other driver (Geico), but plan on being extremely vocal on social media as well.
