Good service and flexible about rental cars

I am happy with majority of the service I received including updates by emails and final pick up experience. However, I know I would regret if I pass on this opportunity and not mention what upset me as I dropped off my car at the 3000 East Capital Expy location on 2/28/19. My car was left with Mr Jose R. the collision estimator who asked me to wait in the waiting area for the Interprise driver to be picked up. Just a quick stop in the restroom and found Jose looking for me to provide the ride himself. I quickly followed him and realized he was driving my own car to offer me the ride to the rental. Although he denied, I can't help wondering if the company uses customers' cars to run errands while in the shop. After I arrived at the rental, my disappointment didn't end there. They had no info/authorization for a rental at all not to mention the fact that they only had **** car in the lot for rental. I waited 40 minutes at the Interprise and left the lot with a noisy Dodge Charger. I would really appreciate it if someone can oversee what is going on at the East Capital location. Thank you!

Nick gave us a feeling that he really cared about our concerns, and was patient explaining the process thoroughly and keeping us informed as the work was being done. The car looked new when we came to pick it up; couldn't tell it had ever been damaged.

Great experience. I have just got my 2016 BMW 3-series repaired at AutoNation Collision Center. I had a minor accident two weeks ago that required a replacement of the bumper and undercover. When I went to pick up my car today, I almost couldn't recognize my car because it looked like brand-new, both exterior and interior (as if it were going for a car show)! I would like to thank Jerry and his colleagues for their professional service, thorough checkup (they helped me to replace not just the bumper, but also the emblem and reflectors), and great attention to details. My insurance company allowed me to rent a basic Hyundai Sonata for the past two weeks - and that made me miss my BMW so badly - that was also why I called Jerry everyday - sometimes even 2-3 calls a day to get the latest updates. Two weeks sounded like a bit too long - but that wasn't AutoNation's fault (the insurance company took 11 days to finalize the repair agreement out of the 14 days of waiting) I thank Jerry for being patient with me. I originally wanted to pick a body shop near home (instead of going 44 miles to the AutoNation Collision Center in Santa Clara) - but after my husband told me this center promises to use New (OEM) parts - I know this center would be the right choice for my car. Thanks again for all the great work!
