A car accident is never easy, but the staff at Lane's body shop certainly go out of their way to ensure it's the most painless, stress-free, and pleasurable experience possible despite the circumstances that brought me there. Very courteous, honest, and professional people who I will continue to trust any vehicle auto body needs I may need in the future. Debbie, Nick, and Bill Patterson deserve special recognition. No better people to have representing auto body affairs.

There was a piece of plastic lying on the side of the floor beside drivers seat. Come to find out it was the covering for the seat belt housing. How in the world and why would THAT be taken off. The drivers seat was reclined full back when the car was brought to me and after bringing it up to correct position, found the drivers seat will not extend to the full height it was when I brought the car in. What was done to the seat to damage it? I don't like sitting low while driving and am very disgruntled about it. There was grease all over the driver's door, on the entrance floor - along with deep scratches. There are snags on the console and on the seat housing. Why would the console and the seat housing be mutilated? There was grease all over the gear shift and sticky stuff I had to remove. Had to call someone to have the mess cleaned up. There was some kind of caustic chemical used to clean the grease and the fumes did not dissipate. While I was driving home in the driving rain, I had a terrible time coughing and trying to catch my breath, at the same time trying to drive in the rain. I could not open the window without being drenched. There is no excuse for that sloppiness and neither the damage to the seat or the snags on the console and the seat housing. That car was bought and has been serviced only at Lane. I am a good customer and resent my car being treated in such a slovenly manner. The back bumper was dinged by something also. It was NOT that way when I brought it in. It is a minor ding, but not acceptable. I only hope the costly repair was done according to manual specifications and corners weren't cut so that the car won't have to be brought back with more problems due to the repair.
