I have just picked up my car from Don's on December 22, after 22 days to repair my car. After driving the car for over a day, there are still some repairs needed. The driver door is not lined up correctly and as such there is a loud wind noise while driving. This sound starts at around 40mph and gets louder as I drive faster. Also, the car doesn't seem to be steering correctly, as in it seems very easy to make the front end slide out. Also, the car feels like it is too easy to steer. As if there is not enough resistance thus making the car not handle correctly. Lastly, directly after the accident, my "check engine soon" light illuminated. I am the 2nd owner of the car, and I have had for 2.5 yrs and 29,000 miles...this is the first and only time I have ever seen this or any warning light illuminate. Don's simply reset the warning light, and insisted that this was not caused by the accident. He says the light frequently will come on with old cars. Also, he said it is not "fixed" and light will definitely come back on. I do not believe this was an amazing coincidence, and I do not believe that a 2011 car with 37,000 miles is "old". I do not feel as if Don's gave the diagnosis of warning light or front end drive components of the car due diligence during his evaluation & repair. Due to the Christmas holiday, I am unable to follow up with Don & USAA to have my car fixed correctly... But will do starting promptly on December 26th. Due to these issues with the repair of the car, once the car is fixed correctly... I will most likely be selling outside it, since I have reservations about the workmanship of Don's autobody, the USAA recommended shop.
