It is always stressful to have any repair work done to the body and paint of your car as we have all seen some really bad jobs come out of autobody shops. This was not the case with you guys. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of work and craftsmanship. It is impossible to know anything was ever fixed. All the gaps, the color and texture, the fabrication, and everything else that went into the repairs on my car are absolutely perfect. You guys truly are artists. Plus it was returned to me cleaner than it was the day I drove it off the dealership lot. I would never hesitate to come back or recommend anyone to have repair work completed by you.

The completion date changed roughly 3 times and it was always at the last minute. I took two and a half weeks for my car to be finished and it was estimate to be less than a week initially. Other than that the customer service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I just would have been nice to have more timely notice when the car was going to be delayed.

As I have in the past, I received great service from Gate City. From initial contact, though scheduling the work, to communication while in-work, through delivery, the service is nothing short of excellent.
Tara Mahon, my Automotive Damage Appraiser, was both professional and efficient. She took time to examine the car and expertly assess the damage, reviewed the process and timeline for repair, coordinated my rental car, and her every action reassured me that my car was in good hands. She is truly an exceptional performer in every sense.
I was informed of the progress on my car every day, by phone or text, or frequently, by both. I knew where my car was in the process, was informed immediately when additional work was discovered on my car, and the car was delivered in showroom condition exactly on time.
The last thing anyone wants is to have an accident, but in the event you do, the first think you should want is a quality body shop to take care of your car. Gate City Collision is that place. I hope I never need their service again, but if I do, I know my car will be well taken care of.

The work was well done, but I would have liked more advance notice
about pick up date. When I called at 4:45pm on the promised date (Tuesday)
was told that I could either pick my car up between 5:15 and 5:30, or
the next day. So, I raced across town at rush hour to get my car
because it was too late to reschedule my other commitments for Wednesday.
It's not your fault that I'm overscheduled, and the staff were really nice
when I got stuck in traffic and arrived late. Still, it would have saved a lot of hassle if Gate City could have either finished my car by 3 on Tuesday, or called me by 3 to suggest extending to Wednesday.
