I am not convinced Rice toyota collision is presently capable of making the changes in service to make the experience better. Both in work and in attitude I believe there is an absence of proper effort. Quality control at Rice collision caused unnecessary embarrassing moments to occur over, and over. While I am delighted to have my vehicle back I noted a series of problems throughout the process with Rice collision. From pre-assignment of the work when I was deciding which Toyota dealership to do the work, after deciding to stick with rice for the repairs there was ambiguity on part of the shop staff over which appraisal was sourced for repairs. Then later I do not believe shop respected my platitudes to have a well coordinated release of my car. Some of the cost was two unnecessary days of car rentals was paid (by insurance, not me) and if I did not offer to pay with my credit card for (approx) $1410 of repairs I believe it would have been more unnecessary days of me being in a rental due to the shops inefficiency and likely slight indifference. I had personally coordinated with the insurance company, rental company and collision shop to make the release of the vehicle smooth. The lapse was with Rice collision (all other parties were totally on page). A further lapse occurred when signing for release of the car occurs prior to viewing of the car. At the time of viewing there was an overt discrepancy (ex. Hub cap replacement included in appraisal and paid for was not included). The Friday before the Wednesday release I called the collision shop and was told the car is now in painting and it will be ready but do not come until I am called. The shop failed to locate the hub cap or to refund then billed amount in the two days time between completion and release of the car. These are a chain of unecessary, reoeated emvarrassing lapses on part of the shop (management, staff, and quality controls). The problemnof parts missing did not stop there. I would argue that David Kitts is not advancing a favorable attitude culture through an exchange with him. He represented Rice collision poorly when he became insulant toward my vehicle. In this instance the facts quickly showed he was on the wrong side of things (refer to image documentation I submitted to Mitch Carmichael's job email. According to Kitts I would somehow be provided the merciful favor of having the shop reinstall parts they lost (while he suggested charging insurance for it. His clownish excuses where that the parts where probably missing prior to entering shop. Within 15 minutes a recent video disqualified that silliness (supplemental image docs sent to Carmichael email can also be referenced for clarity). Beyond this while the bumper cover does seem to be harnessed securely and is painted considerably well I note an issue. That issue is the bumper cover does not arc well into the wheel well rear quarter panel. This is noted visually as well as by feel. After rice collision released the car to me I have not taken the car to an independent collision shop to determine if this is acceptable work because after several aggravating headaches it might just be best to divorce myself from this experience. If Rice wants to look at it and tell me if thisnisnhow their Toyota work is supposed to be then that would be acceptable.

I had my fender replaced. The right from portion of the fender was escue and I had to pop it into place myself. The fender was not waxed to the appropriate Toyota shine. I had to get that done at another dealership. It was disappointing.
