The communication was poor. I did not receive calls about my car when i was told I would hear updates. I was told the car would be ready three times and each time something else came up such as a delayed part. I received text messages about statuses on my car from what I found out was not even your company but my car insurance company which was a let down and confusing. When I dropped off my car on the established date I got a call two days later asking when it was going to be dropped off. This made me temporarily think my car had been stolen and it turned out the communication within your company was also poor. I am satisfied with the finished product but customer service including the secretary and her attitude could be improved.

All was well till it was time to take our car home, and there was a sensor wire that was overlooked somehow during the windshield / roof replacement. The wire with sensor attached was hanging out of the dashboard down into the drivers foot pedal area.

When texts are sent about work progress, it should be explained they come from insurance company and that Portsmouth Auto Body will call tout when your car is ready. I went to pick my car up based on the texts I received and the car want ready.

The repair was done very well. However, the service and interaction with the people managing the process was a disaster. The gentleman who was assigned with managing my vehicle through their repair not once returned my phone calls or after I called and spoke to him seeking status. The repairs were delayed unexpectedly 4 times and ended up taking double the time originally estimated. Finally, a major bunch of confusion between the repair shop and my insurance and the person who caused the accident resulted in my being required to pay 500 deductible unnecessarily - or I was not allowed to drive away with my vehicle after being dropped off at the store.
So while the repair work was top-notch, I would never consider using this repair shop again.
