My customer service experience would lead me to use another collision repair place in the future. My initial estimator was Joel. He left. My second estimator was Ginni. She left. Nick was mt this estimator. I was quite disappointed by his lack of ownership of the issues Lacey Collision Center had agreed to remedy. Unfortunately for me, I signed the forms Alex gave me indicating Lacey Collsion Repair had completed the work properly. This apparently authorized payment from Geico to the shop. But you had the truck for two more weeks to fix what needed fixing. Ginni assured me, on the day I signed the ppwk, that she would make sure Geico paid for the rental car for however many days the repairs would take, Turned out to be two weeks. But Nick made almost no effort to get payment authorization from Geico. I ended up having to pay Enterprise Rental myself for the two weeks your shop needed to complete repairs. Then I had to pursue being reimbursed from Geico for the $500. Still haven't received the money, but it should be soon. Apparently, when Enterprise called Nick to see where things stood, he said "All I know is WE"RE not paying for the rental car. You guys need to call Geico, or tell the customer to." I get that good help is hard to find these days. Nick isn't "good help" as far as I'm concerned. I will not recommend Lacey Collision Repair to my friends, based on my experience with Nick as a representative of your business. But I want to say that Alex is a very good example of what a customer service person should be. He was always cheerful, and committed to helping me. He just couldn't get through to Nick. But it wasn't for lack of trying. The lack of trying was squarely in Nick's lap.

There was no reminder that I had an appointment. When I arrived the repair file was not pulled. It was as if the admin section was not aware of my appointment. when I picked up the truck there was a black smudge mark on the area where the repairs were made. I was just glad that it was a smudge/grease mark rather then an area that was not taken care of.

Repaired piece doesn't look the same as the other side of the vehicle. Was told thats all they can do with it because it is how the clips fit holding it in place. They can even it by refitting my truck bed. Im not gonna have you guys refit a new trucks bed when they couldn't get this piece correctly. Debating having another autobody shop look at it to see if it is done correctly.

It's unrealistic to believe that parts aren't available on a particular date but 4 months later they are. Initial estimate to repair car was $1700 that later turned into $3000 more. Getting that expensive part took only a day or 2. Technician needs more training. Talked to the manager and USAA and neither could find a way to get my car done sooner. This is not how you get a customer to recommend others to bring their car to your place to get fixed.
