First, I was told by the Geico representative that the insurance for the rental car would be covered as long as I faxed over the insurance information from the company that I use (State Farm). Then, when I came to ABRA to pick up the rental car, I was told that the insurance would not be covered and that I would have to pay 16 a day for coverage. This made no sense since I was not at fault for the accident, so why should I have to pay for the repair or the inconvience that this has caused me. Then, today I was called at 5pm and that my car would be done "sometime tomorrow afternoon," and that I would have to pick it up immediately. I work in the city until 6pm, which is when the store closes, and have no way of getting there before closing. The man that called said that I would have to pick it up when it's ready tomorrow and that Geico is very "strict" about getting everything handled quickly. Once again, why am I being inconvience for this? I was never told a specific time that my car would be done, so you just expect me to magically rearrange my schedule to drop off a car? Come on now. Even in the brochure that was handed to me, it says that I have 24 hours to drop off/pick up my car, so I don't understand why I was getting hassled about this.
