Car is in great shape. Repairs excellent, internal cleaning a wonderful surprise. But one major complaint: I tried multiple times to get an estimate of how long the job would take and I never got a call back from the person responsible for my car. It was exasperating. I left 2 messages for him and talked to a number of other employees who said they couldn't tell me anything. If I had just gotten a call back my experience would have been perfect.

I received my car after repairs in less than suitable condition. I chose abra because I expected the best, and I was extremely dissappointed. I had the front bumper and right front fender replaced, painted, and blended with the right side door. There were also some internal damages that were fixed on the right side. The first day that I tried to pick up my vehicle (12/13/17), as soon as I pulled in the parking lot I could see fine scratches all over the fresh painted areas. Upon closer examination, not only were there scratches in fresh paint, there were various things missing from my vehicle that I dropped it off with. The thin rubber guards that go on the fenders were missing and two of the rubber liners that go in the door handles were missing. I was also told that my car was washed, it was pretty dirty near the bottom, and there were smudge marks all over the car where you can see people touched it with and smeared their hand or fingers across the car. I had to keep the car that was lent to me for another day passed when I said I was going to return it which makes me look really bad to those who lent it to me. I returned the yesterday (the next day, 12/14/17) because I was told that the problems were taken care of. The car looked shinier but all the weird smudge marks were still there. The rubber liners for the door handles reappeared. The rubber fender guards were replaced. There were significantly less scratches on the door and fender but still some visible. Now that that was resolved I took a look at the bumper, and right away when I got close to it, I could see drip marks in the paint of the bumper. I could also see something was off about the bumper. I realized after comparing each side of the bumper, that it was on crooked. I was so discouraged and further stressed out because I was going to keep the car lent to me even longer. I was told that I could bring the car back later the next week and that they would fix the problem and cover a rental car for me to use. So at least I could take my car home, but it feels pretty sketchy that I have to drive my car around with unfinished work. I’m afraid when I bring it back that if they can’t fix it, they will tell me to deal with it like they said I need to deal with having scratches in my fresh paint.
Not only were their physical things not acceptable on the car, but the way some of the employees were handling the situation were not acceptable. Some employees were being respectful and patient, listening to my concerns, and trying to be accommodating. But some employees on the first day were just down right rude. They kept telling me I was wrong or made excuses about why there were problems. I felt like they were trying to get me away from my car so I couldn’t keep inspecting it. I had to leave upset and unsure of if any or all of these problems were going to be fixed, just to return the next day to more disappointment and stress.
I specifically chose abra because I had a good experience the first time I had work done to my vehicle. I will not bring my car back here after this, and I will not be recommending abra to friends like I have before.
The most important part of this message is that there was clearly no inspection done to my vehicle before trying to return it to me. Had a proper inspection been done by someone who actually cares about the quality and consistency of their work, this probably all would have been avoided. It seems as if no one really cared how they returned the car looked. I would be ashamed to put my name on the subpar work that was done on my car.
