The staff at ABRA provided a horrible experience from start to finish. Our contact seemed to believe that his primary job responsibility was to denigrate and belittle the customer. His attitude was consistently one of disgust with any questions, disdain for the ignorance of we poor benighted souls, and a haughty contemptuousness for any expectation of communication or service. The work itself was similarly substandard; we are of the firm belief that windows designed to open should do so, but ABRA apparently does not agree. ABRA's supply chain policies may be cost-effective, but the complete absence of parts renders the service entirely unsatisfactory. It may make each repair cheaper to maintain no inventory, but it is a hallmark of disregard for the customer to take such unconscionably long times to effect repairs. Finally, the duplicitousness of the staff should, perhaps, have been expected after all the other issues, but to have ABRA staff tell us one thing and give completely contrary stories to the insurance adjuster reveals a complete lack of any integrity.
I am, however, positively excited to tell all our friends and acquaintances about the experience. That will be the one enjoyable thing to come out of this horrible experience.
