I believe that when the repairs are done in house at the repair shop you control the repair. But in my case the job was farmed out to a specialist. The specialist advertises same day repair on most vehicles. But in my case it took 2 days. The repair was made well in advance but the repair took longer than anticipated

The staff made the repair process as painless as possible. They helped me with a rental service and handled the insurance process so I didn't have to go back and forth. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was to hear that they didn't open the hood to make sure there was no internal damage until the final inspection. My hood was crooked when I brought it in, and I was unable to open it. They had no idea what was underneath it until everything else was already fixed. Luckily, no damage showed in the final inspection.
