Overall repairs look perfect and it was completed on schedule. Our advisor was great and answered all of our questions. However, we told them about the check engine light when we brought the Jeep in and it was still on when we picked it up. The code being thrown is for the wiring harness that attaches to the front fascia, apparently caused by either a defective / damaged harness or if the vehicle was started with the front assembly removed. That should have been identified and resolved as it seems to be related to the damage from hitting the dog that ran in front of us. Since it was only on after hitting the dog I would say it is damaged from that incident?
